The Team New Era Gold programs are open to high school baseball players who are committed to advancing their knowledge and skills while participating in a first class competitive baseball environment.

Mission Statement:

• Guide & enhance the advancement of each player to the College level.
• Teach dedication and work ethic in every aspect of their baseball lives; to include academics, relationships & honest accountability through athletics.
• Develop maturity of ballplayers through respect and appreciation of the opportunities they have been provided playing this great game.
• Provide the best “Teachers” for an exceptional learning atmosphere.
• Present the most enjoyable baseball experience through high class competition.

Gold Teams and Staff:
18U Staff: Former Professional Player and Buffalo School of Baseball Owner Rick Lancellotti and Former Professional Player and Current Williamsville North Varsity Coach Jerry Scarcella

16U Staff: Former Professional Player and The Baseball Academy of WNY owner Justin Santanocito and WNY Baseball Hall of Fame member and Current St. Mary’s High School Varsity Coach Mike Wagner

Tryout Dates:

• Friday June 15th – 6PM – Cheektowaga Central High School
• Tuesday June 19th – 6PM – Williamsville North High School
• Saturday June 23rd – 10AM – Evans Little League

Cost is $25 per tryout participant regardless of number of tryouts attended. Players selected for the program will be credited their $25 toward their first tournament payment.

Team Schedule:
Each Team New Era Gold Team (16U/18U) will participate in:

• Four college/professional scouted events from August thru Mid October
• Events locations include Ohio, Delaware, Rhode Island and Long Island
• Several scrimmage games with current NCAA and NJCAA college teams
• Cost per tournament event is $400, which includes all expenses necessary including hotel, meal and transportation expenses
